In order to legally marry your lover the following forms are required to be filled out:
Notice of Intended Marriage form [or NOIM]
Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage
Marriage Certificate for the Couple’s records – the pretty one.
Official Certificate of Marriage – the big red book.

This must be signed and witnessed by your Celebrant (or a prescribed authority such a JP) no later than one month before the date of your ceremony. It is exactly what it sounds, a notice of your intended marriage.
I need to sight some identification and, if applicable, other documentation if you have been previously married or have changed your name since birth .
